To ensure your resin pieces last please keep the following in mind
CFP use UV protected resin, however, ALL resin still yellows over time. This is apart of its beauty. To minimize this, keep away from sunlight, heat and moisture this will also delay the pretty petals from fading.
To clean - wipe with a microfibre cloth (glasses cleaning cloth) or use glass cleaner if needed for a streak free finish. Be aware that if there are any debri on the cloth you’ll mark the piece.
Treat your resin preservations like glass, whilst resin is a sturdy material, in the event of dropping or knocking the item, fractures and chips will occur.
Storing your preservations stacked together may cause them stick to each other, if that happens apply light heat and gently pull apart.
Keep all pieces away from heat, cold use only.
They are not suitable for the dishwasher, this is standard for resin as most resins can only withstand up to 60 degrees. Top coats can withstand approx 80 degrees but use coasters with hot beverages at your own discretion. A wave of the hair dryer will help correct any heat created dints if it comes to that!
We are not responsible for your preservation once it’s left our studio, so treat with care.
All points listed are possibilities that may happen with resin work and just to keep in mind, everything will be fine as long as you treat them carefully.
